DAY DREAMS |
Twelve-year-old Alice was a daydreamer. She would often drift off into her own
world, imagining herself as a famous actress, a brilliant scientist, or a daring
adventurer. Her daydreams were her escape from the everyday, and they helped
her to cope with the challenges of her life.
One day, Alice was daydreaming in class when she was called on by the teacher.
She was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't even hear the question. The teacher
got angry and told her to pay attention. Alice was embarrassed and ashamed, and
she vowed to stop daydreaming.
But it wasn't easy. Daydreaming was a habit, and it was hard to break. Alice tried to
focus on her schoolwork, but her mind would always wander. She would start
thinking about her daydreams, and before she knew it, she would be lost in them
again.
One day, Alice's teacher called her aside after class. "Alice," she said, "I know you're
a daydreamer. But I also know that you're a bright girl. I think you could do great
things if you could just focus your mind."
Alice was touched by her teacher's words. She realized that she didn't want to let
her daydreaming hold her back. She decided to try harder to focus on her
schoolwork. Slowly but surely, she started to succeed.
Alice's daydreams didn't disappear completely. But she learned to control them,
and she used them to her advantage. She would daydream about her goals, and
she would use her imagination to help her figure out how to achieve them.
As Alice got older, her daydreams became more and more creative. She started
writing stories and poems, and she even started a blog about her experiences as a
daydreamer. She found that her daydreams were a powerful source of inspiration,
and they helped her to live a more fulfilling life.
